AIMS.
To encourage club members to participate, and enjoy, FE racing.
To provide a platform for existing FE racers to help and support new racers.
To provide a platform for sharing knowledge of FE racing.
Run boats that (with minor modifications) are eligible to run in SWAMBC FE races.

DATES and TIMES.
The dates for the new series are Nov 14 and 28th, Dec 12 and 26th, Jan 9 and 23rd, Feb 13and 27th, and mar 13 and 20th.
 Arrival by 13.45, for racing to commence at 14.00.

RACE RULES.
One class will be run, which will follow the SWAMBC Formula 3 rules (Ref.9):
  1 Motor; Brushed 540 type with 19 turn single "STOCK" only (19x1) with fixed timing.
  2 Drive; Direct submerged drive only (NO gearboxes) using only a non metallic propeller.
  3 Hull; Mono hulls only
  4 Batteries; Any 6 pack of sub "C" cells (43 x 23 nom.) Ni-cad or Nickel Metal Hydride Cells.
  5 Duration; 5 minutes, starting from the designated area
  6Course; Anti clockwise around five bouys on an "M" type course.

VARIATIONS:
1 Motor rule (ref) is open to allow any 540 sized brushed motor, with fixed timing and of single wind armeture with no fewer than 19 turns.
2 Motor rule (ref) is open to allow any motor listed in theSWAMBC 'allowable motors rule (ref)' for its Ready to Run class.

RACES will be run around an anti-clockwise triangle if it is not possible to set out an M course.
HEATS will consist of no more than four boats where possible.
ENTRANTS will have two races per round.
OVERALL SCORES will be based on the best three out of four rounds.

All boats MUST BE FITTED WITH A SAFETY LOOP, coloured red outside the hull, which when pulled will disconnect the battery supply to the motor.The loop must be fitted outside the hull in a position which is easily accessible to disconnect. For boats with Surface drive or Exposed propeller system the safety loop must be a safe distance away fron propellor blades. The loop itself must be of at least 20mm.

Boats must carry an upright number plate; the number figure must be black with the lines at least 8mm in width, on white background at least 75mm x 50mm wide
